We’re so glad you decided to lift local! While our grand opening was on August 5th, 2019, this project has been in the works for a while. After Rainbow Co-Op closed in July 2018, a national chain had its sights set on the location. When Michael Boerner of WBA Architecture found out, he called his business partners Jack Allin and Jamie Wier, and they came up with the idea to build a full–service fitness center. They quickly brought in Sean Cupit, who has wide-ranging experience in the fitness industry.
As Michael puts it, “We feel that bringing a fitness center to the heart of Fondren will not only continue the growth of the area but also promote the health of the neighborhood.” We are proud to house the second location of Mama Nature’s Juice Bar, as well as Jackson’s first Fit3D body image scanner.
During pre-registration, which ran from April through July of 2019, we partnered with other local businesses for community events, and we look forward to continuing to build this thriving community. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop by and say hi! We’d love to get to know you and work with you wherever you are on your fitness journey.
